Our Story

Hi everyone!

We're Chris, and Clara, a mother-daughter duo who hope to bring you some much-needed support through home learning and the return to school. We understand and appreciate that many learners will be struggling to catch up with missed work, to fill in gaps, or to consolidate their understanding of key concepts and skills across all ages and stages of learning. We have a shared passion for education, and are more than qualified - and willing - to support you and your children through your learning journeys.

Here, we have carefully curated resources, lessons, supports, informative articles and activities and opportunities for learning. It's our hope that The Home Learning Hub will be able to help individuals, and through this, we aim to build a like-minded community of parents, educators, students and the intellectually curious to discuss, explore, question and imagine. Come and join us!

Chris has a 3 year Diploma of Education (Primary) from the University of New South Wales, in addition to Early Childhood qualifications recognised by Early Childhood Services NSW, achieved through hours of in-service study. Additionally, Chris has accumulated over 300 hours of Gifted Education in-service hours through GERRIC UNSW. She has worked in primary and pre-schools in the Sydney area, though she currently homeschools her youngest child.

Clara has a Bachelor of Science (Psychology) from the University of Wollongong, in addition to a Bachelor of Arts / Education (Secondary) from the University of Notre Dame (Sydney), majoring in English and History. She has spent nearly 10 years teaching English in several of Sydney's elite private schools, to students from years 7-12.
